Mirror Makeover
I have been doing a little experimenting with techniques on glass and mirrors and thought I might as well start with mirrors and glass in my own home. This is a mirror I've had for several years. I found it in a yard sale. The glass is not in the best shape and the frame is missing some of its trim here and there. I covered the entire mirror with clear Contact paper. Next, I taped down this Italian Medallion border stencil (Royal Design Studio) I had in my studio and traced the design onto the Contact paper. The design was then cut out with an ...

Recycling My Blouse
I bought this blouse two years ago and have probably only worn it twice. Feeling the need for something new, but also feeling the pinch of our economic times, I decided to give this blouse a new lease on life. I bought a package of Rit dye in Cocoa Brown. Gee, I can't even remember the last time I bought Rit dye! Following the instructions on the... [Read more of this review]
