Carol originally included the sample board for this collage wall in a previous post, and now that we’re exploring applications using doilies as stencils, I thought it merited another look.
In creating this wall, Carol layered various stencils, patterns, and textures. After base painting in an orange tone, she randomly sponged on Tequila Sunrise LusterStone® and white glaze to give the wall some visual texture and interest. She then used a variety of paper and foil doilies and mesh fabric as stencils, as well as several designs from Royal Design Studio (Large Ikat Zig Zag, Kimono Allover, Allover Oriental Vine, Basketweave, and Floral Chain).
