When I find a stencil design I just love, I usually cannot get enough of it and will find several ways to incorporate it into either my own home or use on a client project.
Such was the case with the small, background flower stencil used on this floor cloth made in Helen Morris’s class at last year’s SALI/IDAL Convention.
A few months went by and I saw the opportunity to once again utilize this simple, one overlay stencil. [Helen, if you are reading this, I apologize, but cannot find the name of this design on your website, so please feel free to send us a link].
Here’s a far shot. The border wraps all around the room and really gives a bright and cheery look to this room.
While I don’t believe this is the exact same stencil design, it is from the Stencil Library and quite similar. Here you see how it was done in Helen and Rachel’s home on the walls as well as the drapery.
We would love to see how others bring new life to their stencils by using the same design in different ways, so please email your pics to us to post!
