A little bit of stenciling can be a great way to add a festive touch to plain paper or canvas bags, and I have some beautiful examples of stenciled gift bags to share with you today.
Pickles and Cheese: Stenciled Gift Bags
These gift bags by Lisa of Pickles and Cheese, were stenciled using a design from Maison de Stencils
…I am trying to get some last minute Christmas stuff done. Can’t go shopping today so I stayed in and finished stenciling some gift bags. These were done with the same stencil that I used on my Hand Stenciled Towels and my Hand Stenciled Christmas Napkins.

CoopCrafts: Fabric Gift Bags
These environmentally friendly canvas gift bags from CoopCrafts were stenciled in a simple leaf and branch motif with gold fabric paint. Lovely and reusable!
Last Christmas I went a little overboard with fabric gift bags. I cut a simple stencil out of card stock, traced it lightly with pencil directly onto canvas bags and painted with gold fabric paint.
