Ever since I saw this picture on pinterest, I’ve been playing with the idea of changing out my kitchen blinds for stenciled window shades. Plain roller shades are a relatively inexpensive option in window coverings, and decorating a set with paint and stencils can be a cost effective way of getting a custom look.
Of course I’ve spent more time perusing Pinterest and various blogs researching this idea than I ever will in the actual painting process. But hey, isn’t that what Pinterest is for? For today’s post I’m sharing 7 of the best examples of stenciled shades I could find. And because I had trouble stopping there, I’ve also created a pinboard for the overflow.
