Paris Chic Dining Room Walls
Chris Smith recently followed one of Melanie Royal's free recipes that can be found on the Royal Design Studio website. This was taken directly from Melanie's Paris Chic.
To begin, walls were base painted with Benjamin Moore's Linen White. Stripes were taped off at 12 inches apart and the entire wall was glazed with Benjamin Moore's HC-41 Richmond Gold. Next, every other stripe was glazed with Benjamin Moore's AC-8 Butte Rock. View these colors online in Benjamin Moore's Virtual Fan Deck.
The stencil is added at the top. Chris used two different colors on the stencil and recommends trying a sample first so you know how the colors will look. Below the chair rail the entire surface was stenciled, using the same two colors.
