Stencil Use For Bikeways
In my constant search for stencil usage, I came across a wonderful website that utilizes stencils for bikeways. The 4th Street Bikeway Project promotes the use of stenciled signage to alert motorists of the presence and rights of bikers and to provide route information to the cyclists themselves. While the 4th Street Bikeway Project is located in LA, they have some very useful and free downloads of stencils other cycling communities may wish to use. Helpful instructions and a gallery showing how the signs are used can also be found on their website.
